After School Club

Please note: Kids Company After School Clubs are only available for pupils attending Kimpton Primary School.

Kids Company Ofsted registered clubs offer fun and affordable childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment by qualified staff, who are DBS checked to an enhanced level, safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained. All our clubs offer lots of free play and free choice activities.

Session Details

 In our After School Club, we pride ourselves in delivering a fun, happy and safe place for children to freely play with their friends, take part in activities, art and craft, sport, chill out or enjoy the variety of toys and games available.

The club is set up to provide a fun and stimulating environment when the child arrives.  There are activities such as Lego, puzzles, toys and board games so children can start playing straight away.

Children are able to go outside as soon as possible each day (normally once everyone is registered and the playground has cleared).

Children can freely play outside, taking advantage of the school facilities including adventure play area, and a large field.

All children are collected from their classrooms and delivered to the After School Club. Parents can pick up at any time up until 6pm. 

Food and Snack

 Healthy Eating Guidelines are followed and includes wraps or sandwiches with cheese or meat, vegetables and fruit. All the children sit down together for a social snack.

**Please note: After School Club is a nut-free zone.**

Available each day but on a rotation:

• Wraps, bagels, pitta bread, crumpets, rice cakes, or English muffins
• Cheese, ham, tuna mayo
• Minimum of 1 vegetables and 1 fruit daily

Food will also be available for children who arrive later (after attending an extra curricular club). Food is normally provided at 4.30pm so will only be offered to those children booked into the longer session.

After School Club Collection: Children can only be collected by an adult over the age of 16 who has been authorised to collect them on their registration form. Parents can amend these details at any time by logging into their account.

Important Reminders:

• The club mobile is only for emergency contact and operated in club time. Please contact the office for general queries.
• Sessions that are not attended are still charged.
• Please label all clothing and items being brought to the club.
• Suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities is required: sun hats & sun cream during warmer days, or warm clothing and a waterproof when the weather is cooler or more variable.
• We suggest packing spare clothes that you don’t mind getting messy due to our outdoor play philosophy and art & craft activities.
• Please remember to update any medical or contact details if anything changes.
• If your child is attending an extra-curricular club, please inform Kids Company of this.

Holiday Club

Our holiday clubs offer families flexible and affordable childcare within a safe, supportive, and fun environment. We also understand that children have different interests ensuring that each day is filled with a wide range of inclusive activities suitable for all abilities and interests. As well as being able to choose what activities they would like to do, children are always encouraged to try something new!

All Kids Company staff are DBS-checked, safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained.

Session Details

Our holiday clubs vary depending on the time of year. We will send out flyers with the activities and costs one month prior to the start of the holiday.
