I joined the Full Governing Body in October 2020 as a co-opted governor. I have two children at Kimpton Primary School - a daughter in Year 5 and son in Year 4.
I am a primary school teacher and have taught in a range of mainstream and special schools during the course of my career. I have held a number of senior leadership roles, including leading specially-resourced provision for children with social, emotional and mental health needs, working in an advisory role in the field of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), undertaking projects relating to SEND for the Local Authority and being headteacher of a mainstream primary school. I have a particular interest in supporting children with autism and I am currently working for a Hertfordshire special school to support staff development.
Outside work I enjoy resistance training and long walks with my family and highly energetic dog!
