Kimpton Primary School

Enjoying Our Learning Journey
Travelling Forward Together
'This is a good school. It provides a caring and supportive environment that places a strong focus on enhancing pupils' self-esteem and raising achievement.' - Ofsted February 2011.
Kimpton Primary School first opened its doors to ‘the poor of the parish’ (a condition stated in the original deeds) in 1843 and the early Victorian buildings, although added to over the years, still form a central part of the school.
The school is situated right in the heart of the beautiful rural setting of Kimpton village. As a result we are able to benefit from many aspects of village life. Members of the local community often contribute their knowledge, experience and expertise to support our pupils’ learning.
We have large grounds and the countryside is easily accessible.
We are very proud of the friendly family atmosphere that visitors often comment on when they visit the school.
